By accessing and using the Kokoro Compass platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

Kokoro Compass provides subscription-based microlearning modules, behavioral assessments, and team analytics focused on psychology and human behavior insights for Japanese professionals and organizations.

Our services include cognitive bias training, emotional intelligence development, personality framework analysis, team dashboards, and optional workshop facilitation.

User Accounts and Registration

To access our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Corporate accounts require authorization from an appropriate company representative.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Our services are offered through various subscription tiers with different features and pricing. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected during registration.

All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with professional standards. You may not use our services to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Prohibited activities include sharing account credentials, attempting to reverse engineer our platform, or using our content for competitive purposes without authorization.

All content, features, and functionality of the Kokoro Compass platform are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our services for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to our platform, including assessment responses and feedback. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it for service provision and improvement.

You represent that your submitted content does not violate third-party rights and complies with applicable laws and our community guidelines.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including Japan's Personal Information Protection Act and international privacy frameworks.

Service Availability and Modifications

This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and these terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitrations against us.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through email or platform notifications at least 30 days before taking effect.

Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
